Although the population of El Reno is reaching 20,000, it still gives you that small town feel. Eighty squares miles from end to end yet holds so many adventures in between. Historic El Reno lies at the crossroads of Route 66 and the Chisholm Trail, which is known as U.S. Highway 81. El Reno Main Street has brought back old town feel to the downtown shops. You can ride the rail trolley up and down the historic downtown and explore all the shops have to offer. El Reno is highly known for the annual Onion Fried Burger Day Festival, where the world’s largest onion burger is cooked and served to the crowd by residents and community groups. Another great attraction in El Reno is Fort Reno, which is located four miles west of the town. Every fall the Fort host the Tombstone Tales, featuring Buffalo Soldiers, Indian scouts and World War II German prisoners that will take you back in time with their stories. Lake El Reno is a great place to take the family for a day, you can swim, fish, camp, play on the playgrounds, or take the boat for a run. This quiet, relaxing lake is wrapped by El Reno’s own 18-hole golf course. Homes in El Reno are some of the most unique of their kind. If you are looking for an older historic home that you would like re rehab, or even looking for one that is updated El Reno has them. As well as the more traditional homes that still have the strong bones in construction. In the past 10 years El Reno has started to grow and offers a wide variety of new home additions. So, if you are looking for a new place to settle just outside of the city and close to major highways El Reno is a great destination. It’s the place where I grew up and driving down the road everyone will wave.
About Kamara
I am a lifelong resident of Canadian County, I grew up and graduated from El Reno High School. I met my husband Michael, and moved to the country.
I began my career out of college as a banker. During that time, I also obtained my real estate license. Both of my parents are real estate brokers, so it only made sense.
After 12 years in banking I came home to help my husband on our growing farm operation, and to be with our 2 children. While home I received my insurance license as well.
Having this background knowledge gives me an opportunity to fully help my clients in real estate. I love working with people and finding them the perfect fit home.
I am country girl at heart, I believe in an honest day’s work, and that my word is binding. All that being said... I love to close deals but NOT in high heels!
